The Owens was complete and seaworthy when I bought it, so I'm still using the orig. anchor. If I wanted to retrofit an automotive variety anchor, I would probably use the block (or maybe the entire engine and transaxle) that came out of the '88 corolla wagon (225,000mi.) But then I'd need a winch (darn, another project)

'80 is the donor of the boat anchor. it's the blue one in the picture. i hope it serves someone well. and, with that receipt, i believe i am done shipping abandonded emissions equipment.

next, mammoth bumpers anyone?
