Ran Fine then nothing

My 76 spider was running fine a little while ago then It wouldn't start back . no fire at plugs, instruments don't work courtesy light doesn't come on wipers work and washers. Everything else dead. Changed all fuses in fuse block under dash with new. No good. Any ideas ?

I have a 76 and suffered a similar issue once. The ignition coil had a bad external resistor. That is for the spark, not sure about the other electrical stuff.

It just started and I backed it in the carport , shut it off and then was dead again . Maybe the switch ?

I would definitely start with the ignition switch. Check to see that you have power when the ignition is turned on. If this is not the problem, you can start narrowing down potential other issued. Good luck, JimmyG
