headlight relay wiring
headlight relay wiring
i am assuming you wire relay with power from bat. to one contact wire to low beams to other contact wire from switch to coil same for high beam any help
Re: headlight relay wiring
we use power from the alternator, switched wire from the headlight switch
Re: headlight relay wiring
you can use battery power, power from the alternator, or from the starter battery post .. whichever suits your fancy.
i think the alternator is the most convienent, when no other mods have been done to the wiring.

Re: headlight relay wiring
what post did you use on alt.i assusme the nut what size wire did you fuse it thanks
Re: headlight relay wiring
I did the headlight wiring thing, incredible difference. I used 12 gauge a couple of relays/fuses and ran it from the alt. Whether I should say this here? The Miri site gives a clear and concise instructions on doing the whole job.
And a couple of different ways to do the job, some run the relays next to the fuse box and use existing wires...its all about giving the lights their own line of power.
