Boogie borrowed some tools from me last night so I know he's not in jail....maybe on the lamb.

On the lamb? Does that mean he's moved to New Zealand?

What sort of tools did he need? Bolt cutters? Did he have a tiny steering wheel on his Fiat, so he could drive with handcuffs?

Re: Need some help contesting a ticket
Well it's time for closure for those of you who have been wonderng what's been happening!
I went in for another trial on the 14th, I walked in to the courtroom at 8:20 for my 8:30 start time. My lawyer met with me and told me that the prosecution was going to ask for a continuance and we were going to ask for it to be dismissed. I was number 8 on the list for the day, so the waiting began. I was almost immediately called up to the stand due to people not showing up on time, and other matters being dismissed right off the bat. When my turn came, I approached the stand and things went just as my lawyer said they would. The case was presented, and the prosecution immediately asked for a continuance because they weren't prepared. He judge asked if it was a pace case and halfway through the prosecutor saying "yes", the judge cut him off with a stern "dismissed". I was out of the room by 8:37.
so after 6 months of stress and worry, I'm a free man with a clear record!
Done, and done.

Sometimes, a lawyer is actually worth what he is paid. Bet it was an expensive lesson. Now, stay a free man with a clear record!
Re: Need some help contesting a ticket
All right now. That's what we were hoping for. It's a shame you had to hire a lawyer though. Congrats
