the "wood" is bakolite, a heat shield from the exhaust, the same material as the factory carb spacer. the intake is an open plenum, both barrels feed a common area. this is a car i did for a customer. he still enjoys this car daily, it might even be at the freak out. this work was done including the paint work in 2002.
