We are putting things back together on the Fiat. But found some wires that do not look happy.
I used Artigue's wiring diagram and was able to find where the wires go to. Except I don't really know what the parts are. Just their names.
The points where this wire goes to is the idle stop solenoid, and the Thermostatic switch for the ignition mode relay.
I think the idle stop solenoid is the one in the carb itself, right?
But from there I don't know where it goes. Unfortunately things were pretty well discombobulated when we got it, so even our pics are not of much help.
Can anyone point us in the right direction here?

Re: Question about idle-stop Solenoid and Thermostatic switch
the idle stop solenoid is in the carb, pointing towards the left fender. The thermostatic switch should be on the bottom of the intake manifold

Re: Question about idle-stop Solenoid and Thermostatic switch
Thanks Mark that will be a big help. I have to cut a wire for the idle-stop solenoid since it it was melted all the way back to the second connector.
Is it safe to assume that the switch is the larger of the two that are mounted under the manifold in the water jacket? And I will assume that the smaller is a basic water temp sensor?
