Its official...we have adopted

Post by ga.spyder »

Thats right, there is a new addition to the Nelson household. Her name is Al-X-is
Image

While not nearly as fast, well mannered, or comfortable as her older sister...she's a cute little booger. And once I maneuver my long legs and fat ass into the seat, she is a hoot to drive.Fellow FLU board member Kevin B. found her and told Denise about her.Denise was under orders to 'thin out the Fiat fleet',to make room for the new Fiat 500. So,I brought the poor homeless litle thing home, and my wife immediately claimed and adopted her!! so...the garage is filled to capacity again.
I got my Spider back from the body shop!!!! :D She looks fantastic, like she was never used as a guardrail for a GMC conversion van.All is taken care of with the insurance, and I am overjoyed to have it home again.A couple pix of the kids:

You should look into sponsoring an 850 spider "foster child".

Matt, funny you should say that.I really have a 'thing' for the 850's.Before this car came along,I said that a 850 would be my next Fiat.Maybe one will show up on my doorstep
Thanks,Ronster.I am really pleased with the work, and extremely happy to have the car back.Made me ill every time I looked at it ,with the side bashed in .They did such a nice job with refinishing the wheels, that I am taking the other two in for the same treatment.

They both look great. Love the interior color on the X. Your Spider looks gorgeous as always.

Not quite loving the stripe on the X, but that's me.

I agree, adding an 850 Spider would go a long way to completing the series. Which will then grow into having a 1500, a 1200, a Transformabile etc etc. I could definitely see you in a twin to that wonderful gray 1500 that was at Freak Out given the high degree of care you take with your cars.

Way to go!

Congrats on the new addition! Also glad to hear you got your Spider back from the body shop! They both look great!
To complete the "collection", I suggest an 850 for Geoff and an old 500 for Heather :D .

Both cars turned out very nice, Craig. It's a good thing you took that X off my hands, because it was doomed to live a life in a teen's hands, and that wouldn't have sat well with Ron idea of thinning the herd. :? Now, are you officially out of the doghouse for selling Rose's Spider? Have I saved your ass once again?

Do you have a garden nome or a lawn jocky I can hold for ransom? ...I'd realy like a Fiat dino spider.

Hmmm, you've got a point there, Matt. He doesn't treat me well enough to be rewarded, does he? :?

Denise you may be the Perfect wife. You take abuse well apparently and even reward the perpetrator, you breed well in captivity and you can wrench on a Fiat. Can your husband right some pointers for us on how to create this Nirvana?

Gunsmith, someone like me is a freak of nature and cannot be a creation of Man. Ron knew he found the perfect woman when he realized I came equipped with my own lawnmower.
