Its official...we have adopted
Re: Its official...we have adopted
And you do yard work? Ron you are never ever aloud to complain! Then again I don't recall ever hearing you complain so now I understand.

You might change your mind if you knew how much it costs poor Ron to get his grass cut. Here's my new toy. It's the biggest and baddest lawnmower I could find and it's simply AWESOME!!!

I must admit that is a pretty expensive lawn mower but from what I can understand it comes with the spousal auto pilot so I am sure it is well worth it. I have been eying those for the shooting range as well and thought wow those are expensive! But I really need to get two of them, 85 acres to cut. The good news is only have to cut the grass once a week in the nice cool summer.

They are pricey, that's for sure, but the way I see is any zero turn mower is going to be costly. Two would be real hard to muster. The good thing about this one is every part is serviceable and it's heavy duty, so anything that breaks can be repaired, but that's not going to happen too often since it's built to last....at least, that's what I'm banking on.

Two mowers, both with spousal auto pilot -- does that imply a deal with 2 spouses? Now, that would certainly be very expensive, but could come with some nice benefits.Gunsmith wrote:I must admit that is a pretty expensive lawn mower but from what I can understand it comes with the spousal auto pilot so I am sure it is well worth it. I don't think I can do that here in Florida. I believe Utah is the only place where two spousal auto pilot units are acceptable. I do have an Old Spousal Auto Pilot unit that I don't use any more and it never really worked well at anything at all and I am still paying on it! My new one is much better but I did not get the lawn maintenance option when I signed up for it but I knew that going in.

That's what happens when you don't maintain your equipment and do service regularly. Trying to use sub-par equipment and maintenance supplies will do that also.Gunsmith wrote: I do have an Old Spousal Auto Pilot unit that I don't use any more and it never really worked well at anything at all and I am still paying on it!

Are you kidding? That thing was a maintenance nightmare and nobody else has been able to get it to work right ever! It even allowed others to work on it with out the other owners knowledge. It wasn't until the other owners noticed some changes to the equipment and tool marks as well as people telling them they seen it out at other repair shops before they caught on. Some pieces of equipment are just poor designs from the factory and there is nothing you can can do to fix it. You just have to know when to get rid of it and get another model from a whole new manufacturing plant and be happy with that. It cost more up front but you are way better off in the long run.

Well glad you upgraded to a more maintenance free model.
