How close is CT to NH? Danny's Fun Imports are there:

Danny at Fun Imported is great. I've had an engine rebuilt by him and it was worth the trip from Southern NH.

There is Tim at Auto-Thentic in Wakefield, Mass. Tim used to work at 128 Fiat as a technician so he knows Fiats. Here is a link to his info: http://local.yahoo.com/info-10108048-au ... -wakefield

Tim recently removed the transmission in my 83 Fiat, replaced all gaskets and the clutch, and replaced it. It was done right and the price was excellent. No more puddles in my garage...

Veloce in Londonderry is excellent too. I had my last Alfa Spider repaired there. Here is a link to their site: http://www.veloceimports.com/ They work on all foreign cars and I have seen them working on Fiat Dino Spiders, Alfas, Jaguar XKEs, etc. These guys are true car nuts.

I hope this helps!

Just updating my own early post in case someone else does a search. For me the answer was AVA in Dublin NH. Alex, the proprietor, is best known as the ultimate classic BMW guy, but after visiting his shop I think he does as many Brit and Italian cars as he does BMWs. In the few months I've known him I've seen 3 Spiders go through the shop.

Alex is skilled, honest and personable. I couldn't recommend him more highly.

Here is a link with the shop info from a bimmer site:
