Hi All,
The 1979 restore project is coming together except now I can't figure out where the tach wires go. I have all the wiring diagrams but the tach has three faston connections labeled +, - and ground. The wires in question have colors, Brown,Yellow/Black, White/Black. Can anyone tell me what the sequence would be. I know the Brown wire goes to the distributor, but I don't know if it goes on the + or - tach connection.
Thanks for reading!

The wire to the distributor would go on the negative - side.

Ok so your tach will have a -
(+GN )which mean g=Giallo=yellow and N=Nero=Black So you should have a yellow with black stripe wire there
( -M ) which means m=Marrone = Brown . So the brown goes here
(<<<- BN ) which means B=Bianco=white, N=Nero=Black. So white with black stripe wire here.
Arancio = Amber
Azzurro= Light Blue
Bianco = White
Giallo = Yellow
Grigio = Grey/gray
Marrone = Brown
Nero = Black
Rosa = Pink
Rosso = Red (fastest color)
Verde = Green
Viola = Mauve/violet

Thanks,
My Tach doesn't have any wire color markings on it, only symbols. I should be good to go now.
Best regards,

Dash is working fine. I found a blown 1N4004 diode in the fuel gauge. If anyone wants a wiring diagram of the faston clip locations and wire colors let me know. Maybe some can post this for me.
