Pictures of Abarth IRS
Just wondering if anyone might have any pictures or even drawings with measurements of this setup. I'm sure they used it on the ralley cars just can't seem to find any detailed pic's.

Re: Pictures of Abarth IRS
The Abarth Spider used a Chapman strut type solution.
Basically a Macpherson strut in the back with a large lower A arm that used the lower long trailing arm mount as one axis of the A arm where it functioned as a radius rod. The rear carrier for the final drive case provided the inner mount for the A arm. This design required the bushings to offer up some twist as the suspension moved through its total travel. The A arm has two mounts to the bearing carrier with the single mounting point at the final drive.
I have scanned two pics from The Essential 124 Spider and Coupe book.

Some more pics of an actual car here:

In looking at some of those pics you can see that there are some notable changes to the front suspension, particularly the addition of a casting to the ends of a new front crossmember that also reaches up behind the spring and acts as a doubler for the crossmember upper mount.
The design of the lower A arm in front is also different, with a narrow mounting base at the crossmember's casting and a leading radius rod behind the front wheel canted in towards the transmission where it mounts. In the one pic you can see also the antiroll bar mounts to the lower a arm much differently with its lower end being the radius rod mount. I would bet the inner mounting bolt of the A arm is an eccentric which would allow for easier camber adjustments as well.
