Can someone explain where and how to wire in a set of front bumper mounted fog lamps?
I know you need a relay. I have some vintage driving lamps I'd like to use.
I have a switch. I need to know where to take the power from on the fuse panel, and the configuration
of the relay in relation to the switch. Is it Power to switch to relay to lamps to ground?
Thanks in advance.

Re: wiring in fog lites
You need a 4 prong relay. Put battery power to the switched terminal on the relay. The easiest place to get that is at the alternator. Put an inline fuse in that wire. The other side of the switched terminal goes to the lights. The remaining two terminals on the relay are for the coil that opens and closes the switched contacts. One of those gets grounded. The other will go to the switch. Then use the remaining terminal on the switch to connect to power from the fuse box

Mark,
hard for me to follow. I'll have to search out a picture of a wiring diagram and re-read your explanation. I've never under
stood how to wire in a relay.

The only thing missing from this article is that you must remove or insulate terminal 87A, which has voltage even when the fog lights are Off.

Thanks for the above link to the diagram - even an electrical Luddite like me can follow it! Also, by coincidence I just installed some fog lights to the front bumper of the Familiare so the above post was timely.
