Seat Belt "Loop"?

Post by RedWolf »

I have a major issue that I'm sure nearly everyone has where the seat belt doesn't stay in the loop on the seat. Every time I get in or out of the car, I have to rethread the seat belt through the guide loop.

I saw an add for seat belt guides on the Spider-point website but appear a bit pricey and are in black and would clash with my tan interior.

Has anyone resolved this issue with ready made product or fashioned something home made? Thanks for any ideas.

Funny, I solved this problem a few weeks ago by using carefullly applied black Gorilla Tape (like duct tape but heavier) to bridge the two legs of the holder. I wrapped the tape around the top and bottom of the gap so the belt wouldn't get stuck against the sticky side. Works perfectly.

Brady's belters will look a lot neater than duct tape...

You can also bridge the gap using thin and flexible neoprene black tubing. It works well.
