Hey Thanks guys! I e-mailed the place in Vancouver. I presently have 13" wheels on it and it doesn't look too good. Did the Turbo's come in a 15" configuration, and what is the difference between 15x7 and 15x6 and how does it affect tire size and driveability.??? I know I'm still green, it's been awhile!

Turbo wheels should be 14X6 just like on the red Spider in the above banner.

Re: 1981 Fiat Spider 2000 -9200km!!!!
Hi everyone, Just wondering what I should be looking at in terms of maintenance before I start using the car this year. I'm a little concerned because of the low mileage. I know the timing belt was changed 5 yrs ago, so , should I change it just to be on the safe side? What about all the filter?? I changed the oil and filter before storing for the winter. I guess I would need someone to tell me what I should be looking at just to be on the safe side. Like a check list. If anyone is up for the challenge be my guest. Thanks!!

Hi Carlo, congratulations on owning such a lovely Spider.
I would be inclined to freshen up the brake fluids with a full system bleed and check all brake hoses to see if they are still nice and flexible and without cracks.
Time does strange things to rubber components, they tend to harden up and loose their flexibility, so once you start putting the km's on the clock keep an eye on engine and driveline oil seals incase they start to leak from not being used.
Repacking your wheel bearings wouldn't be a bad idea either.
Im sure you will enjoy taking your time looking over this most gorgeous Spider.

Carlo, did you make any progress with the 14" turbo wheels. I am waiting for some 15"'s to come any day now. I have four 14" turbo wheels from an 82 with good rubber, only 9000 miles on them. I'm going to post them on e-bay at some point in the next 2-3 weeks. But could sell them to you. Attached is a picture of the wheels on the car. I'll get better picks of the car when I'm back in San Antonio next week.
Buon giro a tutti! - enjoy the ride!
