Stumped!!!
Re: Stumped!!!
WOOOOOHOOOOOO!!!
I think I got it. Started taking the carb apart one piece at a time, cleaning the part and re installing it. I pulled the idle soleniod and found a tiny piece of debris about the size of a needle eye. Looked like a tiny piece of paper, no idea how that got there. Cleaned it out and BAM, it worked. Let it idle for 15 min untill the fan kicked in and it was running smooooooooth as silk.
The only problem I have now is the idle is kinda high. I have tried to use the idle adjustment screw but that does not seem to help. Any suggestions on the idle?
Anyway, going out to burn through a tank of gas. Beautiful day to go topless, the Spider that is. Thanks again to everyone for the help.

Re: Stumped!!!
Time to kill this thread. I figured the idle issue. The throttle cable its self was just a bit too tight. Got the idle to drop to where it needs to be. Now I can dial in the timing. Thanks again all.
