Seems like wet-look, you know ?

Is it to play it italian style, with hair grease ?

Pretty much into details, no ?

Hey westy64 (remind me to ask you about that handle, must be a good story)

My top is black vinyl with a leather grain pattern, no idea what brand it is (my mechanic had it in stock)

Wet look comes from secret vinyl protection fluid (Avon skin so soft!)

No Italian style here, just french Canadian style "a la poutine". My hair is too long for grease.

Details, I'll bite...OK sure....

Bienvenue. Love your grille. I think it's the best of all model years.
Is it now cold enough to skate on the Rideau?
Caps play you on Tuesday. Hope we win one before then

Merci baltobernie

Yep the 68 does have a cute face.
They opened the full length of the Rideau canal (7.8 kms) today for skating.

Penguins tomorrow, then Ovi comes to town...should be entertaining.
Tampa took it to us yesterday, we were due for a reality check! (pun intended)

Ok I'll take your bumpers off your hands then. I do want to get some one day.
I like my hood though.it looks meaner. But I do like all of the different hood designs. They all just look great.

G'day David, tx.
Yep still the original (#s match) 1400 in her. We did her head when I got her but the best to my knowledge the bottom has never been done. Project #....
My problem is it runs well, although it does drink/drip a little oil (keeping the oil sands employed), so I prefer to drive her than fix her.

I enjoyed looking at the pics and vids of your 80, sweet. I had to take a second look at your spedo. Thought it was MPH at 1st!
Would love to take my car to the track but they won't allow me due to my loud muffler. I did get her up to 92MPH a few years back, but I ran out of road (T stop at the end). Then you realize you are speeding in an open car, with no headrests, with no roll bar, that is 44 years old! Gotta love it!

Having posted a few pics on photobucket, I guess I am looking for suggestions of a better photo sharing site so I can post a link with more pics of Angelina. The beta photobucket lacks sort/ordering capabilites. Any recommendations on a good EZ to use photo sharing site?

Thanks
Dan

Good too see you have kept it original, I think is I had an AS I'd keep it stock too, thanks for the comments on my 80 , I think like most of us it is a work in progress, I have got All the bits to make it look like an early model, just have to get it all together
You could the photo web site I use a go, I find it okay?
Strange they think a car is loud at the track, I am aiming to get a roll over hoop soonsih for the same reason, that roof only offers protection to my hair style????

Mostly original...I had an electronic dist installed and replaced the single brake cylinder with a dualy (stopping is good!)
Exhaust is a 4-2-1 mani direct to an old Ansa muflr. no cat no resonator. I have set off car alarms a few times :D ...kinda like my own Harley. Ottawa's finest have only pulled me over twice for noise, but both times they let me go. I guess they figure it's a mid life crisis thing! Speaking of hair, since I retired a year ago I haven't cut my hair. When I get back in the Fiat this spring, I might have to do a ponytail to keep the hair from flying in my eyes from the backdraft. I would assume that headrests would help but I want to keep my seats original. Before ya ask,,,I don't do hats. Something about flying down the highway in a Spider with the sun in my face and the wind in my hair (soon to also be in my face)

I reckon the electronic is a must for ease of starting and what not.
The 421 with no res with an ANSA would be loud, I have the 421, res and baffled muffler and I set of alarms sometimes but it isn't that load, just terrible sound from an aftermarket exhaust, some so called professional local guy who has no idea on how a Fiat is suppose to sound like. It was done in stainless so it's been like that for a long time.... I've been meaning to replace it with an ANSA (I think I like that way it looks more than the sound??) but getting them here to Australia is always a bit of a challenge with the size they are.
I have been seriously contemplating a rack and pinion conversion in which I will have the change my exhaust setup so may go the ANSA then??
Cheers David
