Ok, so Pierce Manifolds has a spot on their website where you enter your car and carb data, how it's running, and they will respond with recommendations. Took a while but they suggested to go up on my main primary to 130 and maybe try a .50 accelerator jet. I had on hand a 125 and a 140 so of course I tried the 140 and I had the .50 accelerator from my 32ADF. Shazam! It's like a weight was lifted. Now I've got the upgrade I'd heard about. Car runs better than ever, starts easy, idles smooth, quicker, faster. Great!
Meanwhile, confirming this, I had read a Brad post suggesting a 140 main primary and a 120 main secondary - the primary larger than the secondary. I've got them both with 140's now and I'm wondering if I should lower the secondary. Maybe I'm too rich so I'll keep an eye on my plugs. Maybe the mileage would improve.

Great!

I can get there about 5:30 or so. It is a good hike, but I will come up the highway if the traffic is good.

It runs from about 5 to dusk I think? Not sure who else might be there, this is my first visit this year.

Good to see you! Here's the Dedham antique car show:

And Medfield is tomorrow!

Don't think I can make that.

Yes, great to see you too. I should have taken some pictures. Thanks for the links, I can't make the Elm Bank (Now Medfield) show, but that one gets over 1000 cars and should be good at its new location.

Update on the carb. As I said it's been running better than ever and the plugs look good but my jetting was a bit unusual so I thought I'd try a couple adjustments to closer to what others have suggested. I went down on my secondary main from 140 to a 125 and put in an F7 emulsion tube in the secondary. So now it's this:
Idle: 55/80
Main: 140/125
Air: 180/170
Accel pump 50
emulsion tubes F20/F7
Honestly can't tell the difference - still great!
I hope this advances the science a bit.
