I drill every thermostat. In almost all cars now there is a bleed hole with a jiggle pin. One of the big advantages besides ease of bleeding is that there will be some flow even if the stat sticks shut. The hole has to be small though, less than 1/8" or the heater won't get very hot and warm up time is very long

Hmmm well maybe I got the hole too big then? I didn't think so at the time, but I have slept since then, and that was a looong day!!
1978 Spyder 1800 make that 2L! Finally making real progress!
