Murray, did you replace the springs with an aftermarket spring,an early model spring,or cut a coil off the stock units?The car does have a nice stance,I have always felt my 82 sits a little high.The lowering may be my next project...next winter...if business picks up...

Hi Craig.
Well i just went for the easy approach. Dropped the springs and cut them. A new set of springs is not a bank breaker but its the easy way to get the hight you want. Just make sure you measure the distance with the load on the springs with some chalk first. And also cut them directly above where the spring originally finished. This will hep it relocate in the groove.
I have never found aftermarket springs to give me the hight i wanted. If in doubt just cut one ring at a time untill you get what you want. It will take longer but you cant add to the spring if you cut to much off.
