I work in a few different buildings:

Google:
6100 East Paris Ave Caledonia, MI

I work in the pyramid inside the circle road. The products I design are made in the factories across the street to the north as well as other local factories and a factory in Tijuana.

My primary office is in the Learning Center:

I work for google at their datacenter in The Dalles. The two buildings on the left side of the photo house our servers. Image

Image pulled from: http://www.nytimes.com/2006/06/14/techn ... earch.html

I would post pics of the inside, but cameras are still not allowed inside and I like my job :?. We have a few computers here. Lets just say enough to keep me busy repairing them indefinitely 8).

There are about fourteen dams on the Columbia river. The water level stays pretty consistent. Well... it has so far...

Man that is pretty funny how so many of us have intertwining careers. I was in the technology business for twenty years building data centers, cabling franchises, factories and distribution facilities around the country. One of my favorite customers that I started my company with was the PGA and I worked at their headquarters here for decades great people. Now that I am full time back into the family business and am thrilled not to have 50 whining complaining never happy technicians working for me I really enjoy going to work. If you look at the video on the home page you can get an idea of what the place looks like until I take some more pictures.

not so glamorous here:

one of the few remaining tool and die shops in Michigan that still produces steel stampings for the auto industry and others (thank God for the others).

Mike,

There's nothing glamorous about the airline pilot gig. It pays decent (although it used to be better -- don't get me started). The only appeal is that I have a lot of schedule flexibility to be home when I want to be, within reason, and also allows me to continue to be G.I. Joe without affecting my career.

I guess it's actually G.I. Tony

George,
you can't post any pic's. That would give up your spy occupation. Ohhh! Did I say that.

James,

It's a KC-135R, the bottom picture in my first post on this subject is an older E-model. I don't own it, but as a squadron commander in the Air National Guard I actually have 8 of them assigned to me. I even sign for them every month, which is a little disconcerting when you first do it. I also fly 757s and 767s for American, although I much prefer military flying and take military leave from my airline job any chance I get. Much better class of people.

Tony

PS George, how about a picture of you arresting someone?

Hi Tony,
I don't think that I'm allowed to post a pic of me hauling somebody away to the big house.. I'll see if I can find a news photo. Hey can I stow away the next time you take a ride to the sandbox? I promise to stay out of the way and keep quiet.

Hi Craig,
People around here really don't talk like that. It's the transplanted New Yorkers (That should stir things up). I'll check and see if I can do that. Need permission from work to post photo's. Wife got a new camera for Christmas and I have been playing around with it. Ralph posted some photo's of one of our local events and Ron Lux made fun of my hat
I think he really wants a hat like mine. I'm looking for a nice orange one to send him.
Hows things down your way. Get any snow or ice? George
