Actually... we could turn the front of that red one into a BBQ... that'd be handy...!

Yea... NO, Andy's shirt was too white and clean to actually get any work done! He did that on purpose!!

I have to argue! Since that red scraper is facing inward, I think the trunk (boot) is the better option for a BBQ!!
1- it has a floor for charcoal
2- it has a possible fuel source
3- it has a lid that will close to keep the heat over the cooking!! And that front seems to be missing a lid!! Must have already gone to scrap!!

Of course, good Texas sized steaks!

Alan - you're right, the rear would be best for the BBQ, I doubt the car could be turned around what with the brakes being seized and all. I think the front lid was there, just on top of the car - probably rusting away even as I type.

Do you think it's too late to salvage those front side markers?

Ok, back on topic...
Started rebuilding the powder coated brake calipers for the rear. One side done, on to the next...

They are very stiff and I am sure I bottomed out my piston, am I doing something wrong or will they loosen with a quick drive?

Took the pads back out and scuffed a little off!
Now everything spins nicely!!

And the front brakes all reassembled.

These went on a shelf since I am not installing the front suspension until the engine/trans assembly is up in place and I have a cross member to mount stuff to.

Alan, not all Texans are like Andy. I wouldn't want you go get the wrong idea of our great state. He is a great guy and I enjoyed every moment I was around him but he is full of bull s**t. :D But then again, the same has been said about me many times. I'm glad y'all got to spend the day together but it seems to me Beek was the only one being productive.
