o k, but why would u not install a washer in the other location, just curious. im having a blast building this 1438, i think im going to call pattys sister, lorain, and tell her we nneed to get her 72 1608 going. maybe we can drag that one over when i roll out this 68.

you don't get pressure by increasing the resistance in the filter, that's merely an obstacle the pump has to overcome. Glad you're having fun, let's keep getting more cars on the road!

today i reassembled the oil pump and installed it.torqued down front crank nut and finished assembling the centrifigul oil filter. also beat the cr#p out of the oil pan to make it straight again.looks pretty darn good with the new paint job.gotta stop and make dinner now for my girlfriend and her kids. tommorow i need to install a bunch of new parts in the dryer so we can do some laundry. things always get in the way when your just starting to have a good time. i need to find a camera so i can post some pics, i think u guys will really like it. later

o k heres a pic of the motor so far. its actually farther along then this. the bottom end is now complete to the pan. but have no camera now. will get current pics soon. tell me whay u think

anyway, to post pictures here from there, just look at that third line under the pic you want where it says "Img" copy everything in that box and just past it here and the pic should show.
