Emergency hood release 1980 spider

Does anyone have a pic of the emergency hood release cable hook up inside a 1980 spider?

Here's the one on my 82, it's the grey loop of cable just above the group of wires above the inline fuse holder;

It just barely comes out past the kick panel, so if yours isn't visible it may be behind it.

Got it thanks. I thought it was inside some kind of holder. It just comes through the firewall and lays on top of the kick panel right?

MIne does. But the way it comes out of the firewall it looks like it would easily slip down behind the kick panel.

Hi,

I'm new to the Fiat world so I am learning as I browse. I have an '80 Spider. What is an "emergency hood release"?
As far as I know I only have one release lever.

Kick panel? Is that the spot where you release frustrations?

The emergency hood release is a separate cable that can be used if the primary hood release cable breaks. The kick panels are the black plastic side panels in the footwell that have strorage trays.
