You "Guys" are a bad influnce

Post by Nancy1340 »

The "Guys" being all the guys & gals here have been a decidedly bad influence on this old woman.

I have decided that there is no reason not to spend my children's inheritance. I mean they can make it on their own, can't they? The grand-kids can go to a vo-tec or a Jr. Collage, can't they? Braces?? They don't need any stinkin' braces?

Soooooooo that being said I have decided that my goal in my sunset years are to own every year, every model and every color of 124's. Don't you all agree that we all should have the ultimate Bucket List?

I mean I can afford Neiman's but shop Wally World. No plastic surgery for this Texas honey, no weekly hair salon appointment, no manicure ( heck a Buck knife or a metric screwdriver works almost as well) no designer hand bags ( but I do have my eyes on a hand tooled leather bag with a Fiat logo on it) no spa treatments............. Well, don't you all agree?

Hummmm? Guess I'd better get to finding a place to build a bigger garage.

that's a very impressive goal and will be quite a collection. You're going to need a full-time mechanic to maintain that many cars

You might as well dive right in and start with the 124 Abarth Rally cars. They’ll only run you around 40000 euros each.

Way to go Nancy! My goal is a smaller scale but similar. I'm hoping to finish my collection with an original little 500. My new 500 is already on order and I have enough 124's to last me a while!
1972 124 Spider (Don)
1971 124 Spider (Juan)
1986 Bertone X19 (Blue)
1978 124 Spider Lemons racer
1974 X19 SCCA racer (Paul)
2012 500 Prima Edizione #19 (Mini Rossa)
Ever changing count of parts cars....It's a disease!

LOL Sounds good to me. :)

It looks like the son in law is going to be moving back here in a few weeks so I guess Atlanta is out for now.
Hubby has his Alfa to put in the shop to get road worthy too.

If you are driving between Springfield and Mesquite then take some time to stop in McAlester at Angel's Diner. It's on US 69 just North of the Casino on the East side of 69.

A very unique sort of burger joint; very 1950's. And the prices are good, too.

And just up the road, in about two years, will be the FIAT dealer!
