Race Weekend

Post by Andre124 »

Had some fun last weekend up at Mont Tremblant.

The FIAT performed great and now I start on all the upgrades.

Enjoy.

Thanks for the post Andre,
That was awesome. It made my day. I loved the in car video. I knew if you got around the spitfire, he wouldn't keep up with you. It had some kick but you were much smoother. Great job! Wow that mustang was fast. Looking for future runs. :P

The GT6 has a 2L straight 6 so yeah he pulled, but I was also short shifting all weekend long.
I've now learned I can go to 7500 easily. That will make a difference next time.

I tried to sit in the GT6 over the weekend, but in race config its too tight for my. Knees up in my face.

My FIAT impressed the hell out of me, but I have a lot of tuning to do so I can chase those quick MGB's.

Still love the GT6.

Is that a gt6 there with the Fiat? Spitfire?? I tell you. Looking at it, I love the shape. Could I see more pic's of it?

Yes they are both GT6s. Which are more or less spits with hardtops, more power and the bonnet.

Enjoy the picts.

Yeah its a pretty fun car to drive, but the FIAT is a good vintage racer.
I actually test fitted myself in the dark blue GT6 last weekend.

I was too tight.

We built the cage on the FIAT for me. Actually an inch over spec for the height.

Thanks for sharing your pictures and videos. It's great to see people taking these cars out on the track and showing people what they can do. Good Luck with your future races.

That looks like toooo much fun. I can only wish there is something like that out this way. The local track is a 400 yard oval where they pick up cars from,I can only guess, and drive them around in circles and when finished they look like they went through a large washing machine.
I suppose racing cars would be similar to racing sailboats in that .... $$$$$ depending on how far you want to go.
The fiat looks great, I'd think a fun thing to do without breaking the bank.

Mont Tremblant is a village in Quebec Canada

Not as old as Mosport, but very smooth indeed.
