I've always like the look of European sport cars with fog and/or driving lights and years ago I had a '70 Spider with fog lights that I mounted right in front of the grill and they looked great. Of course that was a small bumper car and there was more room to mount the lights there without them being blocked by the twin tube bumper.
I was able to pick up a nice pair of rectangular Bosch fog lights on flea bay but I can't figure out where to mount them on my '80. I'm thinking the best place would be right under the bottom tube with some kind of homemade bracket.
Has anyone else out there come up with a solution, short of removing the bumpers altogether? Any pictures? Come to think of it, I can't recall ever seeing a recent model Spider with fog lights. Am I the only one who thinks they look good?
