New member from CO.
Hey there, my name is Anthony and I just picked up a 75 spider yesterday. I purchased it in real need of some love..
Hoping to learn about these cars and do my own wrenching, I have built rock crawlers, played with nitrous in mustangs, and currently have a 70 suburban that im building to tow this little car around once it's ready.
Plans for the near future are a wheels, suspension drop, new top, complete interior swap(ya it's as gross) roll car, ect.
The wheels are for sale btw if anyone like them, best offer located in the springs(southern CO)
Ended up trading a chevy astro that I had a grand into for this btw
Hope to become a contributing member to the forums!

Hi Anthony
Coming from Australia I'm not sure where CO. is but welcome.
I have one the same colour, except mine is 1980 FI model. It does appear you have a 2 litre bonnet (hood) (the metal flap that cover the engine)
You don't want to lower these babies too much, you get all sorts of issues with the shock towers (I learnt the hard way).
Good luck with it.

Thank you for the warm welcome!
Yes, I am in Colorado(didn't realize this was a global site ) Sounds like we have quite a few members with spiders in the rockies. Are there any drives that are set up? Not sure if anyone from here has made it to bishops castle, the nicest drive I have founf in Colorado. As soon as the weather gets warm enough for us to organize something we can make a nice meet/cruise.

That sounds good Anthony I would like that. My goal is to have my car ready to go by April. I am in downtown Denver over by Coors Field and rent a shop down by the Stock Show Complex to wrench on my Spider. Where are you located at? I just got a new top for mine and need a few other things. When the weather gets better would enjoy a trip to Bishops Castle
Re: New member from CO.
I am in the Springs/ looking to get a new top this weekend as well as some interior bits.
Mine needs A TON of love. the interior is shot, seats/carpet/dash.
The wheels are going to be replaced, and I need to do a full tune-up on the car.
A couple of weekends with the parts I need and i'll be ready to terrorize some curvy roads

Hello from another Colorado Fiat owner! I'm from Lafayette, north of Denver.
I think it would be great to go on some organized drives.
One event in this area that we Coloradoans should not miss is the Automezzi. The next one is scheduled for Sunday June 5th 2011. Keep an eye on this site for details:

I just started working on my Fiat last summer, so I haven't been to one of these yet.
Welcome!
