Loved my 124

Post by Mariner »

Hi
I am a new member checking in
As info I had a blue 1975 spider, loved it and foolishly sold it 30 years ago due to problems with the fuel filter/gas tank
Little did I know until a few years later that the gas station where I was buying my gas was watering down their product
The guy went to jail ( a pox on him! ) but that didn't help my car

I am approaching retirement and would just love to have another chance to own a 124. I am particularly looking for a mid to early 70s blue one. Let me know if you're interested! I am a fair guy and look forward to joining and participating in this community

Hey Mariner Dave, where ya hail from?

Fair number of us bouncing around retirement time.

Take your time, your Spider's out there somewhere.

Hi, welcome!

Chances are, the Spider of your dreams is out there, and it may not be blue.

However, it probably needs a bit of body work and new paint anyway, so you can get exactly what you want.

How much can you spend and what kind of shape do you want it? There is a fellow Fiatsi selling his 74 dark blue Spider that is in pretty much perfect condition because he has bought a new 500 and must be fighting for room in the garage. It won't go cheap, but it's a beaut! PM me if you want contact info.

BTW, welcome to the family!!! :D
