just stopped by to say "Hello" to everyone here on the Forum. I've got a 1976 Fiat 124 Spider that has been sitting for a while due to various reasons, and I'm getting ready to rehabilitate it and get it back on the road. I'm the third owner and know the dealership where it was purchased new many years ago. Should I tell you that I bought it for $600 ? I've got the original bill of sale (guy traded in a Corvette for it). I've got lots of work to do thanks to time and weather, new seat covers, new top, some dents and a good repaint job among them. The engine ran fine when it was last parked waiting for a starter and then other things got in the way. I want to put the top down and feel the wind in my hair again. The only car I loved more was a '69 Alfa Romeo 1750 Spider I bought new in California.

HI Colonial GIrl,

Mine's a 76 too. I enjoyed it the first year but on its anniversary (with me) it's rear end decided to give up the ghost. So it is on jackstands, but I hope to be back on the road soon.

Those alfa's are a sweet ride too.

Where you from?
