a person should be able to move the wipers by hand ? just by moving the arms. would the arms move or not. seem to me my motor would not move when i took it out of the car, u would think moving that one arm on the motor ,. it should turn
btw it work Saturday just fine,
DOES A 74 wiper motor the same as the 69

not necessarily. the mechanics gives the motor a big ratio advantage. If the wipers are in the stop position you dont have good leverage.

but i removed all the arms and took the motor out completely and still i could not move the arm on it

if i was to turn on the wiper switch there should be power out side at the wiper motor connection, am i correct? or does the car got to be running, another thing ,i recall is when i uses the wipers switch there was a clicking sound from a relay( i assumed that was from a relay). does a relay burn out often? and why would it click anyways
