I am putting the final touches on my 79 retoration. I forgot how to install the small wire spring on the gas cap door. Can anyone take any picures of theirs and send it to me at hocev@hotmail.com?

I can understand why your having fun with the spring. That thing is a pain getting it in right. You'd think it goes one way but goes the other. I fiddled with it for a long time then realized the spring just wast right. After replacing the spring. It worked well. I don't know what happened to the spring. It was the best on I had. All of a sudden it didn't work. So I used another off the parts car.
