Just to say Hi from a new member in the UK - my name is Nick and I don't have a Spider yet, I am looking but there isn't much around at the moment - I have seen a nice looking '72 on ebay but at £7500 it seems a bit on the expensive side.....
Re: New Member (no Spider - yet)
Welcome! I hear that Fiat spiders were not initally imported into the UK when new. If that is true, finding right hand drive would be difficult and probably expensive. Good luck on your hunting!

Hi Nick. good luck in you quest. A decent spider I believe will be easier than the "Holy Grail" . That price reflects what I've been told about the prices in the UK.. A cherry 72 here would be around $7500.00.
There are several members that post here time to time from UK. What options regarding looking on the mainland?

Hi, thanks for the messages. I am happy with LHD as I am told that they were never sols in RHD - the only ones available have been converted, so I would prefer the opriginal LHD.
I'm a bit useless when it comes to importing a vehicle, so I am currently only looking in the UK - I guess I could look in mainland Europe, but wouldn't really know where to start!!
Cheers, Nick.
