Crankcase Ventilation Hose

I am replacing my MC (master cylinder). While I have the MC out is this a good time to replace the crankcase ventilation hose? Or do I need to pull the intake manifold to get to it?

I am also replacing the brake fluid reservoir and hoses for good measure. Brake hoses, calipers, pads, and rotors already done.

Anything else I should replace while the MC is out?

While you got the MC out, check the firewall by the booster for cracks around the clutch cable hole. You can also look from the inside up in the foot well. If you find a crack(s), now is a good time to pull the booster and add a reinforcing plate to spread the load from the clutch cable. A simple plate with a few holes drilled and mounted in the engine bay will suffice. Weld or rivet it to the existing firewall.

Also a good time to check the steering box. Change oil and adjust if necessary.
