Hi Jim. I'm up the road a bit accross the line on hwy 97. I was out in the car on Wed. but away for now untill the roads are clear and dry. If you're on a road trip north.. fuel up in Oroville and pop up for a glass of instalation fluid

Dang, we're almost neighbors. We'll have meet up sometime in the spring.
Maybe we can get Jim(schnauser) to join in & maybe his kid if his car is on the road by then.

I just got mine this last spring & have only been driving it since the begining of August so this put away for winter thing sucks! Can't wait till spring!

Got any pics???

yea i bought mine this past spring as well. it runs fairly reliably and i'm happy with it. unfortunately the pictures i had were on my other phone before it crapped out on me. i'll have to take some in the spring since it is all wrapped up for the winter. this is my first manual vehicle i have driven and I've learned on it fairly quickly. having to shift by sound is difficult since i haven't fixed the tach yet as i'm not sure where to start

part of the reason why i haven't really looked into it is because i don't really have a place to work on it. another big reason is that is the only thing that isn't working right now so i didn't want to not be able to drive it by taking the dash off or something. there are wires under the hood that look like they may have been cut, unsure if it has anything to do with it or not. may post a new thread when i can get back under the hood so i can take pictures to assist in figuring it out.

Hey we are all gonna have to get together, I'm a bit further east in Libby MT. Would make a fun drive either direction. Spring is coming..

how far from idaho is libby? i know driving on the freeway i can get to missoula in less than 4 hours, but wouldn't want to drive my fiat that fast that far until i know it is all all up to date and running well. good news on the tach, found a wire that had been cut near the coil, decided to strip it and try it out and now the tach is working. its difficult to decifer when i find loose, cut, and disconnected wires and unhooked harnesses when there isn't another side. i am definitely learning as i go.
