It is such a pleasure to be among people who love Fiats! My very first Fiat was a 1976 Fiat spider, lime yellow that I bought saving up my paper route money back in 1985. I have own another 76 and a 75 since and now I have a 79 that saddly it will not pass california tough smog emmissions! I am now looking for a pre 1975 fiat spider. I have also own a couple of alfa romeo gtv 6's a couple alfetta gt's 1 alfa spider. There is nothing more special then to own a beautiful italian car! But to me there is nothing more special than the Fiat Spiders! Unfortunetely I own probably the worst years of the spider here in california when it came to smog equipped vehicles! But I did not care, Each one of the Spiders I owned. were unique in itself It is such an honor to be associated with a special group of people that love their Fiats the way I do!

why wont it pass cal inspection?
ive never had to do that here in wi
however they do it in millwalkee

i heard if it has a vacume leak they wont pass you there
and wont tell you why it failed
is this true?

Hi, did/does your '76 have lic plate 886 WZV?

If so, I have the front license plate. I've had it since I sold the car around '85.

Maybe someday the plate will be reunited with the car.
