Hi All,
My first 2 cars were Fiats and through them, I learned the necessary basics to work on most of the cars I've had through my life. I currently have a '77 Fiat 124 Spider. It is heavily laden with smog stuff and very underpowered. Quite a dog compared to my '72, but still fun. So, that's 3 for me.
My Dad has a '72 124 Spider with 40,000 original miles and a '72 Coupe. I will probably get this wrong, but he's had 6 previous 124 Coupes (he is partial to the coupe), 3 124 Spiders, 1 128 wagon, 2 X1/9s, and a 1959 Fiat 1100. That's 14!
My uncle had a '72 128 Sedan that he bought new.
My Grandpa had the '72 124 Spider that my Dad currently owns.
Total: 18
Beat that. My Dad was stationed in Germany after the Vietnam war and managed to grab tons of cool Euro-spec parts that have moved around a lot.

thats quite a collection. I dont even come close, and dont have any family members to pad the total.
Here is my list.
68 850 spider: first car. traded it in on a new 70 124 spider. drove that car as a daily driver til 93 where it quietly rusted away under a tarp. had 295k miles on it. the car has since been stripped and many of it parts are in my current project.
68 124 coupe
75 124 coupe: bought it for my kid to drive
71 124 coupe: abandoned on the street. bought it from the cops. this is where my daughter learned to wrench
X1/9: dont remember what year, first year they came out. had it for 3 months as i bought it to turn it
71 124 spider: parts car to repair the totaled 70.
600D dont remember what year. bought it for $50 and sold for $100. was that dumb or what
80 FI spider: current project. hope to get it roadable before I die
