My name is Ryan and I just picked up this 80 spider I really don't know to much about it so I guess i should say sorry in advance for the dumb questions.
You know it's really a pretty neat little car. Enjoying the little thing wont be hard. It does have a toasted starter and the wipers don't work but everything else electrical does, and in true weird fashion there where wiring diagrams covered in mouse blood in the trunk.
No really, I didn't know mice got into fights.
Hello everyone.

Re: Hello everyone.
It is a rare known fact that back in Italy there were organized underground mice fights. Often the promoters would transport the mice in the trunks of their cars to elude the police.

Re: Hello everyone.
dood! Mice fight all the time! But usually with other weird cartoon characters, not amongst themselves.
wiring diagrams in the trunk is predictive. You'll find that a sizable chunk of problems discussed on this site are electrical-related. Your ownership should be no different.
wait... what am I saying... mine doesn't run either!

that's a great attitude. I know that if I had to push my car to enjoy it.... it wouldn't be all that much fun.thefeline wrote:...Enjoying the little thing wont be hard. It does have a toasted starter and the wipers don't work...

I'm no Boy-Racer..... but if I can't take every on-ramp at TWICE the posted limit.... I'm a total failure!
Re: Hello everyone.
Yea I have owned some REALLY bad cars so I guess its all relative, I try to have a "it got me here don't b****" attitude to them. this one works well once I push it and at least its light.
I found a eaten fan wire I hope those cannibal mice liked the taste of mouse blood more than the wires. I guess they get hardcore too the glove box was full of blood. I just thought mice are little cute balls of fluff that seems to be really wrong.

Re: Hello everyone.
Beware mice.... My plumber said they eat PEX. He has had multiple calls to repair leaks inside walls and has found the PEX chewed... Uh ohh.... Not good.

Re: Hello everyone.
Welcome to the fun of Italian cars. Don't be afraid to ask a lot of questions, and also use the search function on this site, as I have asked many stupid questions and gotten answers.
As far as the mice fights, I recommend you be careful. I saw a documentary where the mouse was fighting with a cat. There was all means of weaponry involved, even an anvil.
