Hello to the group.. I am the current carer for a French Blue 850 Spider with hard top (and soft top) from 1972 when it was first registered here in Canada (although the serial number says it was made in December 1970). Guess it took a year or more to get through the paperwork back then. I had a 1967 one when I was in University but at the age of 4-1/2 years major parts of the the structure rusted through and the two front wheels pointed in different directions. Seems this one has been in storage for a lot of its life and I have had it for 4 years now.
I am looking forward to finding a few parts I need. We have a very active Italian Car Club of Ottawa here and haeld an Italian car parade last weekend with over 120 vintage and modern Italian cars on show. Great fun.

Hello & welcome, not sure if we have met through the ICCO or not. Either way hope to see you around or at the Fiat Freakout in Montreal

Re: Hello from Ottawa
That's great! More Fiats in the East!! We left coasters may well have come catching up to do. And we're the ones (supposedly) with the best top down weather, although with all the fricking rain and flooding we've been having here it's been pretty tough to get much top down time.
Anyway, a warm welcome, Terryt, from the west (left) coast! You'll find lots of guidance on this forum. And if you haven't already, a few friendly Fiat folks in your home town.
