Hello everyone my name is David, I just purchased my 1st Spider last week. A 1980 from Florida ,1 owner car with 85,000 miles on it. Now just waiting for it to be shipped here. Hopefully by the end of next week. Here are some pics of it.
We just got some snow and the weather is getting cold, so I don't know how much I will be able to drive it when it get's here.
Looking forward to enjoying it.

Very attractive and it looks like it is in good condition.
Always great to see another 1980 in the mix.
Is it carb'd or injected?

It is Injected.
It is a repainted car, ( was brown) Was told repainted due to faded paint and not any accident repair.

Welcome to the forum David.
Looks like a nice car. Where in Minnesota do you life? I am in Minneapolis with a 1981 FI car that is already tucked away in a corner of the garage

Re: Hello from Minnesota
Hi there. Snow in Minnesota.... tell me it isn't so..
Car looks great. In my opinion better colour than the "root-beer" original. First thing I did with my brown car was paint it.
Now, how are you going to deal with the new toy in the garage and not be able to enjoy it (unless there are a couple of tweeks it needs) untill it warms up some and the crud is off the roads ?
Chris

I also ride motorcycles so use to putting things away for the winter. I think I will be able to wait. But we are looking at the 40's buy the end of the week if it gets here in time. Now, how are you going to deal with the new toy in the garage and not be able to enjoy it (unless there are a couple of tweeks it needs) untill it warms up some and the crud is off the roads ?
