Greetings from Central Florida

Post by rodman »

Good day mates, Just wanted to thank the forum owner for this website and you members for all viable information it contains.

No with that said let me explain how I came to be a owner of a Fiat spider 2000 1980. I went to visit a friend Saturday ( 12/01/12) and as I pulled into his drive way I saw this little car sitting there. I got out walked over to it look around it and inside and fell instantly in love with it right away. Needless to say I went over knocked on his door and started to inquire what the car was and if it was for sale. He really did not want to get rid of it cause he had plans of turning it into a electrical car project he wanted to to do. I started talking fast cause I did not want to see this little car get all tore up.

He asked me what I had to trade so I traded him a old 250cc Polaris 4 wheeler he has been wanting from me for some time now. The car runs and drives fine there is no rusty holes anywhere on the whole car. It came with 4 brand new tires, whole extra set of rims and tires for it. Came with a lot of new uninstalled interior parts. dash, console , extra transmission gauges so on... the top is in ok shape but the rear window is coming lose so I am going to replace it. It also is in need of painting.

Little about my back ground.

I have never owned a car, I do fabrication welding metal work also paint and body, I drive and build 4x4 monster trucks they are all diesel. I will post some a picture of the car and the trucks I build.

The truck on the LEFT is what the truck on the RIGHT used too look like.

Hello and welcome. We don't see too many of those trucks in my neck of the woods. I would like to have one tho. No more fighting over a parking space

Great trade! Good news is you can carry this car in the back of your trucks. Once you paint it and can show off the lines of it you will love it even more. I could probably use one of those trucks to promote our range at events. I'll have to drive the Spider up and see you one day.
