Hello from Phoenix
Hello from Phoenix
I just joined to learn more about these fun and interesting cars. I don't have very much input for anyone yet but I hope to learn a lot and someday purchase one of my own.
Thanks,
Kyle

Re: Hello from Phoenix
Welcome aboard! You've found the best place for info and help regarding Fiat Spiders. There's a few Spiders on the market in Phoenix and even a few in Tucson. There are a couple of threads in the forum that discuss what to watch out for when buying a Spider. Keep us posted on your search and if you have any questions about one you're looking to buy. Good luck and happy reading!

Re: Hello from Phoenix
Thanks for the welcome, I've been scouring craigslist in Phoenix and Tucson for a running and driveable Spider in the $1500-$2000 range. I've come across a couple of '77 and '76's, but I'm really trying to learn what to look for so I get something I will be happy with. Any input is welcome and if anyone has a drop on a good car, please let me know!

The last one, I called about it back in Aug, so he's had it a while..

Re: Hello from Phoenix
This just popped up today, think I'm going to take a look at it. My concern is it has been sitting for 7 years. Also, what is a reasonable price to pay for a new top?

There's a silver '79 in the auction line up at the Scottsdale Barrett Jackson event this week - lot 315.

Might be fun to try your luck!

Going to check out a '78 tomorrow, fingers crossed it'll all work out and I'll feel comfortable posting in more than just the introduction thread!
