hello

Post by sdspider850 »

I have a 1971 850 sport spider convertible with under 10,000 miles we bought at a fund raiser last year we will be putting up for sale in the near future. I am the third owner, the original owner purchased the car put 7000 miles on the car then put the car in storage for 20 plus years. He passed the car to his daughter and her family, they put a little over 2000 miles on the car over the remaining years storing the car inside the entire time until they donated the vehicle for the sale I purchased it at. The car has some small dings from years of family storage and a few minor mechanical changes made over the years. I know rust is an issue on these cars this one has none due to to full time storage. We will soon be posting it on our local South Dakota craigs list soon and try to respond here for a few days. Thanks Duane

pics always help sell a car. Did you buy the car with the intent to restore? if so why did you change your mind?

Yes I will work on a few pictures. I bought the car because its a good car, it went for a good cause ,and other than the few blemishes in the paint its a clean little car that doesn't require restoration. Thanks Duane
