Installing New Top

I have read many of the threads about replacing the top. I have actually done it myself about 20 years ago in the parking lot of an apartment I was living in. I do not remember much about it, but just thinking "I never want to do this again". So here I am at this point again. I called around today and the cheapest price to install the top I have already bought is $350. Quite frankly, after just getting the car painted I just don't have the cash.
I guess I will be installing the top myself. Go me.

With a good friend ,some installation fluid and plenty of time. It is enjoyable. I would do it again.

I've done two, one was a pain in the keister to get everything propery lined up and everything just fell into place on the other. I would not attempt it without a helper. Good luck.

Glad to see you installed a new top on your car. I will be calling you for pointers. Do you have some pictures of your new paint job?

The top was really not too hard. Time consuming tho. The instructions I have are very good. Attention to detail is a must. When I wet sand and buff it I will send you a pic.
