Hello to anybody,

My name is Carlo and im from holland. I just bought a spider from 1976.
never had a fiat before. So i will be making much uses of this forum in the future.

I saw in some topics that most people without bumpers put front indicators in de grill or in de rectangular holes, wy not in de ovel spaces. Is there a reason for that?

Hi Carlo & welcome to the best place on earth  post some pics. I think it may just be personal preference however, I am sure those that have done it will chime in.

i did mine in the oval holes ... for 2 reasons.. 1 there was a kit for those holes ... 2 down the road i figured that the square holes will be easier to fill when i do body and paint.... i know that some people use the rectangular hole because the ovals had bumpers and if they want to ad bumperettes or something similiar in the future the mounting locations are already there from the previous bumpers

kits are also sold for the rectangular holes for signals

i plan on buying a couple of amber led tiny turning lights out of an aftermarket motorcycle catalog and tucking them just behind the grille in the corners so they cant be easily seen unless they are turned on

It looks like you have turn signals behind the grill right now. I tried some small LED lights in the grill for turn signals and they just werent bright enough. When the headlights were on, they were barely visible.
