Isn't it a 72? Reyy, are you ever going to put a hood on that car? It looks the same color as mine. Are those Panasports and do you have a side pic so I can see what the wheels look like? I'm shopping for 14" wheels and don't know what to get.

72, but it has a 69 "AC" motor in it.... nothing like~ 10 more ponys to make you happy.....

FWIW This car may be up for sale in a month or two... I want to keep the car, but I have a job offer for about 25k more a year out of the country that I just might take.

Campys, Campagnolo

Post by lanciahf »

Panasports ? Nope those are Campys, Campagnolo. best wheels ever made period. They still make wheels for bikes and quit cars in the 80s. I heard someone bought them and started making the wheels again under the name of techno magnesium, I'm not sure if they are still around. FAZA use to sell them in the US.

actually, i bought those campys from the old guy that said he used to be faza. the color does look like yours, but its not original, the original owner changed it before i got the car from him. it was bright red and still is under the hood, well if it had a hood. i have a flt hood , im going to graft the bulge on off the hood of an eclipse onto it soon i hope.
i thionk i missed something about pulling the boat though.
about that 72 with a smaller 69 engine, where does the 10 horse power come from?
heres a pic of the side. oops ill have to get the pic tommrow

Its in Fair oaks Ca ( sacramento...) I am not sure how much since I am not sure if I am going to sale it. I do however, have 2 small truck loads full of spare parts( or one big truck load full). If I had to guess I would say 2-3k range.... like I said I am not sure. It all depends on rather I take the job or not.

I've got a pic like that! The difference is I didn't have a grin on my face:

The 71 I bought last fall is supposed to be orange also. I love that color! I'll be stripping it this fall and refinishing it in the original color. This will be my first attempt at painting a car, with guidance from my husband, so it should be interesting!

Hood Bulge

Post by Jim DeShon »

Ray: I assume you are going to use the hood off the 96-99 Eclipse ? Are you going to have enough air flow to the carbs? Interesting idea. Just trying to picture how much room there will be under the bulge. :? I'd like to see the end result. :D ...J.D.
