• Which block should I use with which head for '81

I'm trying to assemble the wisest engine from several blocks.

The original block is bad. Can I use a 131 C4.000 (What is it?) block with the original rebuilt fuel injected head? I've also got an '81 block and head that need to be rebuilt. Is that the better thing to do?

It is generally agreed that a 2.0L block and a 1.8L head offer the best performance for value. Bumps compression slightly.

yes i would go with the 81 setup
if you can get high comp pistons DO IT
but have someone who knows what they are doing do it
