Bought a 1977 Spider in May. So far, with the help of this forum I've:
1. Replaced and bled the brakes with confidence.
2. Fixed a lot of wiring (mostly behind the radio console).. wiring diagrams
3. Performed the "brown wire fix" .. I have "more" power.
4. Replaced the exhaust manifold .. I have back pressure
5. Got real creative with the EGR fittings .. passed emissions
6. Made new door panels and covered them... very cool
7. Replaced a broken distributor seal .. stopped the leak.
8. Performed an old fashioned tune up .. owners guide
9. Replaced the timing belt with out having to remove the radiator
In short, I have a classic daily driver that runs well and is just a BLAST to own. Thank you all for your most complete diagnostics, instructions and hints.
