Had a problem (understatement of the century!) with a head bolt breaking off in the engine block. To clean other bolt holes should I buy a M10 x 1.25 thread chaser to clean out the other bolt holes? Or can I make one using an old head bolt like this guy did?

I think once I can hand tighten the bolts all the way in the thread should be clean and ready for torquing with the new studs.

If you can find a chaser that is long enough, that would be ideal. I made one out of a old head bolt similar to the one pictured.
