New guy from Seattle

Post by sailman53 »

I have been reading this forum for several years and have reaped it's benefits, thought it was about time to join so I could add my two bits once in a while.
My car is a 78 spider that is mostly stock, smog stuff removed, headers, electronic ign, and a 34 adf. Have owned this car for 15 years or so and it's not driven in the rain, so needless to say it isn't out of the garage much in the winter.
Have a couple of winter projects in the planning stages, front end job and the transmission, the car has about 95 thou on it.
Cheers!!!!

Glad to have you on the forum!

Is one of your winter projects to build a set of pontoons for your Spider? :D As a former Puget Sound resident I remember what it was like when it floods there and the days, weeks, or even months of "gloom." Residents pay a heavy price for the few months of nice weather you get. Having a Spider in the NW is a treat when the weather cooperates!
