In my '81 FI car I get a small puff of smoke coming from the transmission housing area. I have the center console off right now and when I start the car cold I get a small puff of smoke coming through where the shifter is right away. Not sure what this means. Any thoughts? I guess I'll check the tranny fluid and replace. The car is in neutral when this happens.
